🇬🇧 EN GARDE is an exhaustive 5-Day workshop integrating Screen Acting and Stunt training. Directed by Cédric Chavin, the course is designed to instill a solid foundation in stage combat and stunt fundamentals.
🎬 Each participant leaves with an original scene filmed in professional conditions.
A 2 months intensive Stage & Screen Acting course led by Fonact & Actoreel team in Fontainebleau, France.
Participants will work on the specific demands of both stage acting and on-camera performance, with a strong focus on accuracy, listening, and emotional authenticity. The workshop explores the fundamental differences between stage and screen acting, both technically and artistically.
The training is structured around:
> Theatre exercises (physical work, voice, intentions, improvisations).
> Filmed scenes drawn from contemporary texts.
> In-depth work on framing, eye lines, and performance continuity.
> Screen playback sessions and personalized feedback to support each actor’s individual development.
All participant will finish the course with a professional screen acting showreel.

LEARN
The first part focuses on learning of a specific skill, through a variety of practical exercises. During this phase, our experienced directors share their secrets and techniques, allowing participants to acquire valuable skills and refine their craft.
AND SHOOT
The second part involves applying the knowledge gained through the filming of a scene. This stage deepens the work done in the classroom and provides actors with a unique opportunity to enhance their demo reel with a professionally produced video.
We understand that each actor has specific needs and constraints, whether in terms of training or budget. That’s why we offer maximum flexibility in our program. For those who prefer to focus solely on theoretical learning, it is possible to enroll in just the first part of the workshop. This option allows actors to benefit from a 50% discount on the total cost of the workshop while accessing high-quality training.
